I am a librarian at Silistra Regional Library /Bulgaria/ since 1995.
I have participated in American-Bulgarian Library Exchange project in 2004.
I am a member of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association.
Chairman of the section “American experience for the libraries” of Bulgarian Library and Information Association.
From 2011 to 2013 I worked as a trainer in the program “Glob@l Libraries – Bulgaria”.
Regional library „Partenii Pavlovich” is the largest in district Silistra and has a rich and varied collection of approximately 300 000 library documents. It serves citizens of all ages with science, popular science and entertainment literature. The library offers its users free internet access, information resources and electronic databases. The library works on projects and programs in partnership with diversity organizations, exposes exhibitions, offers a variety of cultural and educational initiatives.
Public Library “Partenii Pavlovich” saves a unique collection of local periodicals and books, coordinates the collection, preservation, organization and dissemination of information about Dobrudzha, history, development and present day of Silistra.
Performs coordination, expert consultancy and training activity at libraries in the region.
Silistra is the last Bulgarian city on the Danube and has border with Romania on water and land.
Silistra Municipality has partnership with Khmelnitskyi, Ukraine; Leskovac and Kikinda, Serbia; Calarasi and Slobozia, Romania; Dunaujvaros, Hungary; Veles, Macedonia.
