Alexandru Strunga

My name is Alexandru-Constantin Strungă and I am Assistant Professor of Education Sciences at University of Craiova, Department of Communication, Journalism and Education Sciences. My field of interests are teacher training, adult education (particularly seniors education), computer-based education and research process management. I have an experience of almost 6 years in the field of higher education and at the moment I am postdoctoral research fellow at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. I have participated in many projects focused on seniors education, mainly in cooperation with University of Ulm’s ZAWiW and the other partners from our network. My interest and hobbyes are litening to music, wathcing interesting movies, playing guitar, reading intriguing books and almost all has to do with mobile learning. The city of Craiova is twinned with: Kuopio (Finland), Skopje (Macedonia), Nanterre (France), Vratza (Bulgaria), Shiyan (China), Upssala (Sweden) and Lyon (France). University of Craiova is member in many network, for example: EUA – European Universities Association (Asociaţia Universităţilor Europene); CER – Conference of European Rectors (Conferinţa Rectorilor Europeni); IAU – International Association of Universities (Asociaţia Internaţională a Universităţilor); IAUP – International Association of University Presidents (Asociaţia Internaţională a Preşedinţilor de Universităţi); AUF -Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (Agenţia Universitară a Francofoniei); BSUN – Black Sea Universities Network (Reţeaua Universităţilor de la Marea Neagă); AEUA – Association of Arab and European Universities (Asociaţia Universităţilor Arabe şi Europene); IEEE – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Institutul de Inginerie Electrică şi Electronică); IFR – International Federation of Robotics (Federaţia Internaţională de Robotică). I am personally involved in General Association of Elementary School Teachers from Romania and DANET.
